I love this bone broth and put it in everything I cook..

Amber

  • Made with Organic bones from chickens that have lived a free range life, foraging on organic pastures. This broth is made by slow cooking the chicken bones with filtered water for up to 24 hours.

    Raw apple cider vinegar is added to the broth which helps facilitate the release of; collagen, amino acids, calcium, gelatine, magnesium, phosphorous, and potassium.

    This chicken bone broth has a very high natural protein content and is rich in collagen.

    You can use Ossa Organic Bone Broth as a base for soups and stews, or it's delicious as a drinking broth when you're needing a little boost.

    From time to time our stock pouches may get pierced during transit, when you come to defrost the stock we recommend placing it in a bowl, just in case to capture any liquid.

  • Bone Broth can be cooked from frozen or defrosted. Once defrosted it cannot be refrozen.

    To Defrost 

    Place the pouch in a good sized mixing bowl and leave on the kitchen worktop over night. 

    To Cook

    From frozen:

    Remove the packaging and place into a saucepan set to a medium-low heat. Once the stock has defrosted and turned into liquid, turn the heat up and bring to a simmer. Simmer for around 5 minutes and serve piping hot.

    From defrosted:

    Place a saucepan on a medium heat and gently warm through the chicken broth for about 5 minutes until it gently simmers.

    Try adding miso or our fava bean umami paste to create a nourishing and restorative drink.

  • Store in freezer and follow use by date or enjoy by thawing in the fridge and use with 7 days.

  • Broth is simmered longer and often drunk on its own, focused on nutrients and a lighter, cleaner body. Stock is the base you build a dish on. This works as either.

  • Bones from properly free range birds carry more collagen and gelatine than caged or barn-reared ones, which is what gives a broth its body. Commodity broth often ends up thin and watery.
